Description
Chateau Leoville Poyferre 2022 is a Second Growth Saint Julien from Bordeaux. The 2022 blend is 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. It is powerful yet velvety, with concentrated black fruit, cedar and mineral character, fine tannins, balanced acidity and a long, persistent finish.
Testing Note
Blackcurrant, dark cherry and black fruit with cedar, flint, violet and subtle spice. Dense and layered on the palate with velvety texture, fine tannins and a very long finish.
