The Casa Defra Valpolicella Ripasso 750 ML is a red wine from the Valpolicella region of Italy. It is made from a blend of Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes. The grapes are fermented twice, first with their skins, and then with the skins of Amarone grapes that have been dried for several months. This second fermentation gives the wine its rich, full-bodied flavor. The wine has a deep ruby color and a complex aroma of ripe red fruit, dried fruit, and spices. The flavor is full-bodied and smooth, with notes of cherry, plum, chocolate, and tobacco. The finish is long and lingering.
