Weingut Gottardi Sudtiroler Blauburgunder Mazzon 2018 is an elegant Pinot Noir from Mazzon in Alto Adige, one of northern Italy’s celebrated areas for the variety. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, it combines ripe red fruit, forest-floor complexity, herbs, tobacco, and subtle spice with fine tannins and balanced acidity.
Testing Note
Ruby red with aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry, cherry, dried blackberry, herbs, tobacco, forest floor, and delicate spice. The palate is elegant and juicy with fine integrated tannins, balanced acidity, refined fruit, and a persistent, fresh finish.
