Venge Vineyards Signal Fire Vineyard Zinfandel 2023 is a powerful, full-bodied red wine produced from dry-farmed, old-vine grapes grown at the winery’s Calistoga estate in Napa Valley. The vineyard’s head-trained vines were planted in the early 1900s and yield a concentrated wine with deep color and rich texture. Aromas of fresh honeysuckle and white pepper lead to flavors of blackberry jam, sweet cola, blue herbs and allspice. The palate is bold yet balanced, with a viscous texture and a long, refreshing finish. The 2023 blend is approximately 97% old-vine Zinfandel and 3% Petite Sirah.
