Description
The Setting Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 is an elegant, deeply expressive California red crafted by winemaker Jesse Katz. Aged for 22 months in 80% new French oak, it offers concentrated dark-fruit character with refined tannins, balanced freshness and a smooth, lingering finish. Only about 650 cases were produced.
Testing Note
Aromas of maraschino cherry, boysenberry, blackcurrant, violet, anise, mint, sage and exotic spices. The palate is polished and plush, with silky tannins, balanced acidity and flavors of dark berries, chocolate, mocha and cigar box leading into a long, refined finish.
