Tenuta di Valgiano Colline Lucchesi Rosso 2017 is an elegant and complex Tuscan red produced from organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards in the hills near Lucca. A blend led by Sangiovese with Syrah and Merlot, it combines ripe Mediterranean fruit with savory herbs, spice, freshness, and refined tannins.
Testing Note
Aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry, plum, violet, Mediterranean herbs, tobacco, and warm spice. The palate is concentrated yet fresh, with layered red and dark fruit, savory notes, fine-grained tannins, and a persistent, elegant finish.
