Tassajara Pinot Noir Monterey 2023 is an elegant, medium-bodied dry red wine from California's renowned Monterey County. Produced from estate-grown Pinot Noir grapes cultivated in sustainably certified vineyards of the Scheid family, this wine reflects the region's cool coastal climate and maritime influences from Monterey Bay. It opens with inviting aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries, plums, vanilla and subtle toasted oak. The palate is silky and vibrant, offering flavors of roasted cherries, red berries, cocoa, delicate spices and earthy undertones. Soft yet structured tannins and refreshing acidity create a beautifully balanced drinking experience, followed by a smooth, lingering finish. This approachable California Pinot Noir pairs wonderfully with roasted chicken, grilled salmon, mushroom risotto, pork tenderloin and mild cheeses.
