Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Cask 23 2004 is a prestigious estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon from the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley. It is produced from selected lots of the winery’s renowned S.L.V. and FAY vineyards. The wine offers rich cassis and blackberry aromas with notes of toffee, vanilla, rosemary, truffle, and cocoa. The palate shows dark berry, cherry, dark chocolate, espresso, and supple tannins, followed by a long, refined finish. The 2004 blend consists of 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot and was aged for 24 months in 85% new French oak.
