Description
Saxum G2 Vineyard 2017 is a powerful, full-bodied red blend from the Paso Robles Willow Creek District. The wine combines ripe black and red fruit with smoky, savory and spicy notes, supported by substantial tannins and a long, concentrated finish. The 2017 blend consists of 58% Grenache, 20% Mataro, 11% Tannat, 8% Graciano and 3% Syrah.
Testing Note
Dark blackberry, black raspberry and plum flavors with smoke, pepper, savory herbs and spice. Full-bodied with layered texture, firm tannins and a long finish.
