Description
San Felice Vigorello 2020 is a historic Super Tuscan red from Tuscany, first produced in 1968. The 2020 blend combines the native Pugnitello grape with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, creating a rich, structured wine with ripe fruit, spice, underbrush and subtle vanilla notes. It is matured for 24 months in 225-liter French oak barrels followed by additional bottle aging.
Testing Note
Dense ruby red with garnet highlights. Aromas of red currant preserve, sweet spices and underbrush lead to a warm, complex palate with expressive tannins and smooth hints of vanilla.
