It opens with aromas of red fruit, plum, vanilla, dusty oak and dried fruit, followed by layers of dark fruit and baking spice. The palate is rich and supple with silky texture, refined tannins and a long, elegant finish. The wine was aged for 24 months in French oak, with 75% new barrels.
