Rizzi Barbaresco Nervo 2022 is an elegant, single-vineyard Italian red wine from the prestigious Barbaresco appellation in Piedmont. Produced by Cantina Rizzi from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in the steep, south-facing Nervo vineyard in Treiso, this wine beautifully expresses the character of its limestone-rich soils. Hand-harvested grapes undergo fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by 12 months of aging in large Slavonian oak barrels and an additional 6 to 9 months in concrete vats. The wine reveals captivating aromas of raspberries, fresh mint, cinnamon, and delicate earthy notes. Its refined palate combines vibrant red fruit, mineral complexity, structured tannins, and refreshing acidity, leading to a long, elegant finish.
