The 2023 vintage displays a deep, inky purple color with expressive aromas of blueberry, blackcurrant, black pepper, cocoa and tobacco leaf. The full bodied palate reveals rich flavors of blackberry, ripe plum and dark berries, complemented by subtle mineral notes. Firm, well-integrated tannins provide excellent structure, leading to a long, persistent finish.
Aged for 16 months in American oak barrels, this sophisticated red wine pairs beautifully with grilled ribeye steak, smoked brisket, braised short ribs, roasted lamb and aged cheeses.
