Description
Pertinace Barolo 2022 is a traditional Piedmontese red made from 100% Nebbiolo, primarily sourced from vineyards in La Morra. It is fermented with extended skin contact and aged for two years in traditional Slovenian oak casks, followed by bottle aging. The result is a structured, complex Barolo with firm yet balanced tannins and excellent aging potential.
Testing Note
Intense garnet red with aromas of ripe red fruit, berries, sweet spice, vanilla and licorice. The palate shows dried dark fruit and herbs with firm, balanced tannins, good acidity and a long, persistent finish.
