Nastro d’Oro Nurchetto is an Italian fruit liqueur produced from the distinctive Annurca apple of Campania. The apples are traditionally harvested when ripe and then rested in the mild autumn sun to develop their characteristic deep-red color before being used in the liqueur. Nurchetto has a pale straw color and a sweet, fresh apple character described as falling stylistically between cider and Calvados. It can be served well chilled, over ice, after dinner, or used in cocktails with spirits, juices, and mixers.
