A distinguished single-vineyard Barolo made from 100% Nebbiolo grown in the renowned Sarmassa cru. The 2013 vintage is full-bodied and firmly structured, combining mature dark fruit, floral notes, spice, tobacco, and refined oak nuances with fine-grained tannins and a long, elegant finish.
Testing Note
Deep garnet red with aromas of wild rose, black cherry, raspberry, licorice, dark spice, tobacco, espresso, and subtle balsamic notes. The palate is rich and elegant with ripe dark fruit, toasted spice, fine-grained tannins, and a persistent finish
