Cuvee 225 ROSE 2008 derives its name from the litre capacity of the oak barrel in which it has been fermented. The oak supports the evolution of the different wines and plays an important role in developing their tasting profile. No more than few thousand bottles were produced. This rose is one of the very best: complexity and liveliness together.
Bright pink salmon color. Refreshingly clean nose, with aromas of morello cherries, raspberries, and red currants. Well balanced, light to medium bodied wine. The finish is crisp and fresh, with a bit of acidity.
