Description
Lustau Vermut Rojo is a premium Spanish red vermouth from Jerez, made from a blend of dry, nutty Amontillado and rich, sweet Pedro Ximénez Sherry wines. The wines are aged using the traditional Solera y Criaderas system and combined with a selection of 10 botanicals, producing a complex balance of fruit, herbs, spice, sweetness and pleasant bitterness.
Testing Note
Mahogany red with reddish highlights. Aromas of ripe fruit combine with citrus, herbaceous notes and smoky wood. The palate is rich, velvety and balanced, finishing with pleasant bitterness and a distinctive nutty aftertaste.
