      Lucien Boillot and Fils Volnay 2022 is an elegant red Burgundy made entirely from Pinot Noir in the Volnay appellation of the Côte de Beaune. The wine comes from clay-limestone soils and is matured in oak barrels, with no more than about 30% new oak. It combines expressive red and dark fruit with earthy complexity, lively structure and a soft, rounded finish.

       

      Aromas of strawberry, cherry, black currant and blueberry develop into notes of plum, pepper, underbrush, moss and mushroom. The palate is lively and structured, with refined tannins and a soft, rounded finish.
