Description
Louis Barruol La Boisselée Côte-Rôtie 2022 is a Northern Rhône Syrah made in collaboration with Kermit Lynch. Louis Barruol works with old-vine Petite Serine/Syrah from steep schist slopes, using whole clusters, indigenous yeasts and short macerations to preserve Côte-Rôtie’s traditional floral, savory and gamey character.
Testing Note
Deep ruby with blackberry and violet aromas, followed by black olive, smoked meat, crushed herbs, graphite and mineral notes. The palate is concentrated yet elegant, with fine-grained tannins, fresh acidity and a long savory, spicy finish.
