Laphroaig Cairdeas Warehouse 1 Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a special limited-edition Islay whisky released as part of Laphroaig’s celebrated Cairdeas series for Friends of Laphroaig members. Inspired by the legendary Warehouse No. 1 located on the Atlantic coast of Islay, this expression captures the distillery’s iconic maritime peat-smoke character with added richness and complexity from carefully selected maturation casks. The whisky opens with powerful aromas of sea salt, campfire smoke, vanilla, lemon zest, iodine, and toasted oak. The palate is bold and oily with layers of smoky malt, caramel, black pepper, medicinal peat, charred citrus, and subtle sweetness leading into a long warming finish packed with coastal salinity and earthy smoke.
