The origin of the Lanson Cross dates back to 1798, when the founder's son Champagne decided to utilize the Maltese Cross, a symbol for the oldest charity in the world, to fashion the emblem of Lanson. Today, redesigned and engraved on each bottle, theLanson Cross remains a symbol of openness, kindness and hospitality.Our Champagnes are carefully craftedandcharacterized by inimitable freshness and vitality. A particularly rich and exciting Champagne from Lanson, named in honour of the first expression produced by the House many moons ago. Using a combination of 35% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir and 20% Pinot Meunier Champagne  wines, this expression spends Champagne four years ageing, with at least 40 months on its lees.
