We gathered interesting American White Oak casks that had previously contained either wine or scotch, with a few European Oak ones tossed in for culture. The interiors of the casks were heavily re-charred after being heavily shaved down, and then we filled them with our golden 11-year single malt whisky to mature. a whisky that goes well with any medium-rare steak. This whisky not only stands out on its own, but also brings out and intensifies the flavors of the ideal steak. It has undertones of vanilla, red berries, sea salt brine, and Lagavulin's distinctive smoke.
