La Medida Mezcal Tepeztate is an artisanal mezcal from Oaxaca, Mexico, made from 100% Tepeztate agave (Agave marmorata). The agave can take roughly 20–25 years to mature in the wild. Traditionally produced using an earthen oven, stone tahona, open-air wooden fermentation tanks and double distillation in copper pot stills, this mezcal offers a distinctive combination of vegetal, floral, fruity and mineral character.
