It is made from malted barley with a peated character that sets it apart from the softer expressions in the Kadamba range. Aromas of peat smoke, toasted cereal, honey and wood lead into a malty palate with gentle ash, citrus, oak and peppery spice. The whisky remains approachable despite its smoky profile, balancing the peat with sweetness and warm malt. Bottled at 42.8% ABV, the finish carries campfire smoke, spice and mellow oak.
