José Gil Viñedos en San Vicente de la Sonsierra 2023 is an elegant village-level Rioja red made from vineyards around San Vicente de la Sonsierra. The blend is led by Tempranillo with Garnacha and a small portion of Viura. Fermentation takes place in concrete and stainless steel with indigenous yeasts, followed by aging in used French oak and concrete. The wine shows fresh red fruit, violet, mineral and subtle spice notes, with fine silky tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, refined finish.
