Description
A vineyard-designated red Burgundy made from organically farmed, 50–60-year-old Pinot Noir vines rooted in clay-limestone soils. The wine undergoes a slow 20-day maceration and matures for at least 15 months in French oak, including approximately 25% new barrels.
Testing Note
Expressive aromas of cherries, raspberries, violets and licorice introduce a dense, layered palate. A deep core of fresh fruit is balanced by excellent energy, earthy mineral nuances and fine, powdery tannins.
