Halter Ranch Ancestor 2017 is the winery’s flagship Bordeaux-style reserve red blend from the Adelaida District of Paso Robles. Crafted from carefully selected Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Malbec barrels, it offers aromas of berry compote and baking spices. The palate is rich, concentrated and powerful, with blackberry, cassis and graphite flavors supported by structured tannins and French oak. It pairs beautifully with beef, lamb, venison and other hearty meat dishes.
