Description
A traditional Barolo made from Nebbiolo grown in the Gianetto vineyard of Serralunga d’Alba. Extended maceration and maturation in large Slavonian oak casks produce a fragrant, structured wine that combines immediate appeal with excellent aging potential.
Testing Note
Intense garnet with ruby highlights. Aromas of ripe cherries, berries, dried flowers and spices mingle with blood orange, cedar and pipe tobacco. The palate is deep and powerful, with supple, ample tannins and a long, resonant finish.
