      Groth Oakcross Proprietary Red 2021 is a refined Bordeaux-style red blend produced from selected vineyards in the Oakville appellation of Napa Valley. Cabernet Sauvignon provides structure and dark-fruit character, while Merlot adds richness and softness, and Petit Verdot contributes color and spice. The wine was aged for 21 months in French oak barrels, including 70% new oak, creating a full-bodied yet balanced wine with plush tannins and layered fruit, spice, chocolate, and mineral notes.

      Expressive aromas of raspberry, boysenberry, blueberry cream pie and crushed blackberry, with notes of clove, violets, pencil shavings, toasted bread and bittersweet chocolate. The palate offers ripe plum, tart cherry, mixed berries and mocha, followed by graphite, cranberry and paprika, with delicate, plush tannins.
