Gen5 Old Vine Zinfandel Lodi 2023 750 ML is a bold, fruit-driven California red crafted from sustainably farmed old-vine vineyards in Lodi. Produced by the Lange family, whose farming heritage spans five generations, this wine combines fruit from approximately 90-year-old vines for depth and concentration with younger estate vines for freshness and vibrant character. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, ripe raspberry, licorice, and warm baking spices lead into a rich palate filled with juicy dark berries, black cherry, plum, pepper, and hints of vanilla and oak. Aged for 6–8 months in French and American oak, it offers a plush mouthfeel, smooth tannins, and a long, spicy finish. It pairs beautifully with barbecue, grilled steaks, smoked ribs, spicy sausages, pizza, and aged cheeses.
