The wine reflects the appellation’s gravelly volcanic soils and cool influence from San Pablo Bay. It was aged for 22 months in French oak, with 50% new barrels, and bottled without fining or filtration. Rich black and blue fruit flavors are balanced by firm tannins, freshness, graphite-like minerality and impressive aging potential.
