Description
Elliott Brothers Reserve 10 Year Bourbon Malbec Cask Finish is a limited-edition Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey aged for 10 years and then finished in French oak barrels previously used for Tapiz Black Tears Malbec from Argentina. The Malbec cask finish adds layers of dark fruit, spice and wine-influenced richness to the bourbon’s classic caramel and oak character.
Testing Note
Rich aromas of caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and dark berries lead into flavors of ripe plum, blackberry, baking spice, molasses and cocoa. Full-bodied and warming, with the Malbec barrel finish contributing dark-fruit richness and a long, spicy oak finish.
