Elements of Islay Cask Edit is an Islay blended malt Scotch whisky built from smoky southern-coast and fresher northern-coast Islay malts. The blend combines refill, bourbon and sherry cask maturation to balance peat smoke, fruit and wood spice. The nose shows fresh coffee, sugared almonds, white chocolate and light peat smoke with fresh fruit. On the palate, vanilla smoke and wood spice meet buttery pastry and creamy coffee notes. Bottled at 46% ABV, the finish is lightly smoky, sweet and gently fruity.
