Elements of Islay Beach Bonfire is a limited-edition Islay blended malt created from whiskies from two Islay distilleries. It combines maturation in new oak, bourbon, refill and sherry casks to create a bold mixture of bonfire smoke, herbs, fruit and sweet spice. The nose brings oyster shell, wood smoke, baking spice, cherry and tarragon. The palate develops bourbon-soaked cherry, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger and medicinal Islay peat. Bottled at 54.5% ABV for the U.S. limited release, it finishes long with wood fire, brown sugar and gingerbread spice.
