Domaine Les Astrelles Gevrey Chambertin Creux Brouillard 2022 is a limited-production red Burgundy made entirely from Pinot Noir. The Creux Brouillard vineyard lies east of Gevrey-Chambertin on clay-limestone soil containing limestone pebbles deposited by the Combe de Lavaux. The grapes are hand-harvested, fully destemmed and naturally fermented before approximately 13 months of maturation in French oak barrels, including about 15% new oak. The wine is elegant and aromatic, offering ripe cherry, delicate red fruit, violet, subtle spice and a refined mineral character.
