Description
Domaine Leflaive Mâcon-Verzé Les Chênes 2024 is a refined single-vineyard white Burgundy produced from biodynamically grown Chardonnay. The Les Chênes vineyard lies in the heart of the Verzé Valley on west-facing clay-limestone slopes. Matured in oak followed by stainless steel, the wine combines ripe orchard fruit, citrus freshness, subtle toasted notes and a distinctive mineral character.
Testing Note
Bright and expressive, with aromas of fresh peach, green apple, grapefruit, lemon zest and white flowers. The palate is smooth and concentrated, showing apple tart, citrus, subtle pastry and toasted oak notes. A firm mineral backbone and lively acidity lead to a clean, elegant and persistent finish.
