Description
An old-vine Saint-Joseph produced from 50–80-year-old Syrah vines planted in granite soils. Partially whole-cluster fermented and matured in 600-liter oak casks for 15–18 months before bottling without filtration.
Testing Note
Deep garnet in color, offering ripe blackberry, black cherry and blackcurrant aromas with graphite, white pepper, spice and subtle toasted notes. The medium-bodied palate is complex and gently structured, with ripe, firm yet velvety tannins and a savory finish.
