Description
Le Dragon de Quintus 2019 is the second wine of Château Quintus, produced in Saint-Émilion on Bordeaux’s Right Bank. The 2019 blend is 86% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Franc, matured with approximately 33.5% new oak barrels. It offers ripe dark-fruit character, freshness, refined tannins, subtle oak and a rich, polished structure.
Testing Note
Beautiful dark red color. The nose is intense and fresh with very ripe black fruit, blackcurrant and dark berry aromas, developing subtle oak notes with aeration. The palate is medium-to-full bodied with fine, silky tannins, succulent dark fruit, a hint of chocolate and a long, savory finish.
