Description
Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild 2016 is the second wine of Château Mouton Rothschild, produced in Pauillac, Bordeaux. The 2016 blend is 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, and 3% Cabernet Franc. It is concentrated and refined, with black fruit, cocoa, graphite, spice, and polished tannins leading to a long, fresh finish.
Testing Note
Dark carmine-red with purple highlights. The nose shows black fruit, bilberry, cocoa, graphite, and spice. The palate is fresh and full-bodied with dense yet elegant tannins, smooth fruit, excellent balance, and a long, persistent finish.
