Chateau Ausone 2000 is an exceptional Saint Emilion Grand Cru from Bordeaux’s Right Bank. The 2000 vintage was produced from equal parts Merlot and Cabernet Franc. It is dense, powerful and refined, combining ripe blackberry, blueberry and dark cherry with crushed stone, licorice, mocha and spice. The palate is full bodied and concentrated, with silky texture, fine tannins and remarkable mineral length.
