Casa Manglar Mezcal Espadin y Madrecuishe is an artisanal joven mezcal from San Juan del Rio, Oaxaca, built as an ensamble of two distinctly different agave profiles. Espadin contributes balance, roasted sweetness and a familiar mezcal structure, while Madrecuishe adds a drier, more mineral and herbaceous dimension typical of the Karwinskii agave family. Casa Manglar works with small artisan palenques and traditional Oaxacan production methods, including pit roasting, tahona milling, open-vat fermentation and double distillation in small copper stills. The brand's range is produced in limited quantities with an emphasis on the personality of the maguey rather than volume. Bottled at 45% ABV in a 750 ML format, this expression is layered and savory, moving from cooked agave and gentle fruit toward herbs, pepper, mineral tones and a long dry smoky finish.
