Borgogno Barolo Riserva 2008 is a traditionally styled, mature Barolo made entirely from Nebbiolo grapes in Italy’s Piedmont region. Structured yet elegant, it combines vibrant acidity and refined tannins with complex mature fruit and savory characteristics. This long-lived Riserva offers excellent depth and a lingering finish.
Testing Note
Ruby-garnet in color with aromas of dried rose, violets, red fruit, spice and subtle oak. The palate is full and balanced with vibrant acidity, flavorful refined tannins and excellent length, developing mature notes of dried cherry, leather and tobacco with age.
