Arak Brun is a traditional Lebanese arak produced by Domaine des Tourelles in the Bekaa Valley. The spirit begins with grape-based alcohol and is redistilled with anise using traditional methods before maturation in handmade clay jars. The classic Arak Brun rests for about one year, allowing the spirit to become smoother while retaining its pronounced anise character. Served traditionally with cold water, it turns milky white and releases intense aromas of anise, herbs and grape spirit. Bottled at 53% ABV, it is a classic accompaniment to Lebanese mezze and Mediterranean dishes.
