Description
Almaviva 2016 is a premium Chilean Bordeaux-style red blend from Puente Alto in the Maipo Valley. It is made primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Carménère, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, and aged for 16 months in new French oak. The wine is elegant, complex and silky, offering red and dark berry fruit with refined oak-derived notes.
Testing Note
Deep brilliant ruby red with aromas of raspberry, blackberry, toffee and coffee. Round and fresh on the palate with subtle tannins, followed by vanilla and pepper notes on the silky finish.
