The Champagne “Les Regards d’Avize” by Waris-Larmandier is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from the 1963 parcel of the same name with an east-west exposure on chalky sediments, in the Grand Cru village of Avize Millesime 2014, this Blanc de Blancs is vinified in wood and remains on the lees for at least 5 years. Tense and mineral, citrus fruits predominate accompanied by notes of pastry and dried fruit. No added dosage (zero dosage). The Champagne “Les Regards d’Avize” tells a lot about the terroir of Avize, where the Chardonnay reaches its maximum expression thanks to the chalky character of the soil which favors the balance between the acidity of the fruit. the sugar and the precursors of aromas that are revealed in the wine. Limited edition of approximately 1300 bottles.
