Producer Information The Federalist is a Californian wine producer based in the Rutherford sub region of Napa Valley. It produces a range of wines sourced from several AVAs (American Viticultural Areas), including Lodi, North Coast and Sonoma County. The flagship of the range is the Visionary Zinfandel from Dry Creek Valley, which features Alexander Hamilton on the label. Other Founding Fathers portrayed in the range are Benjamin Franklin and George Washington, while Abraham Lincoln adorns the Honest Red Blend. The wine portfolio from the Federalist also includes a duo of red blends that are aged in barrels that were previously utilized for Bourbon aging. The Federalist Chardonnay is a varietal wine that is aged in oak barrels sourced from Hungary, France and America. The Federalist is now owned by the Terlato Wines conglomerate.
