This inky-colored zesty wine offers aromas of sour cherry, leather and a hint of dried herb. The extremely simple, easygoing palate shows red plum and a hint of clove alongside loose knit tannins.

The Cantina San Lorenzo founded in 1890 and still owned by the Galasso family, is the largest privately owned Wine Estate in the region Abruzzo, with over 400 acres of vineyards, producing the finest Montepulciano grape varietal and the finest Montepulciano d’Abruzzo D.O.C. red wines. Their Montepulciano is also very sought after by other top wine producers in Abruzzo, because of the intense qualities of their grapes, indispensable to creating more complex award winning wines.
