Vincent Girardin was born in Santenay, in the C?te de Beaune and is part of a winemaking family whose origins date to the 17th century (11th generation). Now in his forties, Vincent began in 1982 with only 2 hectares (5 acres) of vines. When his father retired, Vincent took over several additional hectares to which he could devote himself.

Tasting Notes
More purple than crimson in color, deeper in color than the preceding wines. The nose is rustic and a tad too oaky. On the palate, very, very silky. Nice for a village appellation. Racy mineral acidity, floral and perfumed, too. Dark chocolate flavors with a nice balance of tannins?
