The wine has a deep yellow gold color and a discreet nose that reveals notes of candied fruit and verbena. The palate is balanced, tense and fruity, with flavors of apple, tea, beeswax, candied yellow fruit and citrus. There is a slight iodine note on the finish. The wine is less elegant, concentrated and fresh than usual, but still shows the intensity of noble rot that makes it feel almost dry. The wine has a luscious finish with good length. The wine pairs well with desserts, cheese or foie gras.
